FS (CA): 18"x8.5" ET38 BBS RK wheels + tires, $1200
I've decided to part with my beloved set of 18"x8.5" ET38 BBS RK wheels! No rubbing at all on my E46 sport suspension. LIGHT WEIGHT! ~19lbs each. That's pretty spectacular for an 18" non-forged wheel. Here's where I got that spec from: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6333631 He sold his set for $1200. I feel like mine are equally valuable. Advantages of my set are the BMW center caps, more usable offset (38(mine) vs. 13(his)), original paint in great condition, and tires. His didn't have the couple of curb rash nicks that mine do. Condition: One has 3 1/4" curb rash spots on the lip (VERY minor. See pics.) One has a small scratch in the paint that tends to get colored by brake dust (see pic, it's on the left side of the wheel) One has a ~1" long spot of rash on the lip (looks like the next one but smaller) One has a ~1.5" long spot of rash on the lip, with a slight chunk taken out of the tire right there. The tire is only chunked on the lip-protection rubber (a lot of good that did...). Shouldn't affect structural integrity of the tire. The last two pictures are of this wheel. I have noted and photographed every single flaw. Other than those, these are in great condition. I've kept them waxed with wheel wax religiously, so there's no built up grime or anything. Tires: General Exclaim UHP tires 225/40/18 with 15k miles on them. Front tread is up to Lincoln's eyebrows on a penny, the rears are up to Lincoln's mid-forehead. I'd estimate about 40% tread life remaining? I never drifted/skidded/etc. Hell, I've barely even chirped the tires... All balanced properly on a Hunter Road Force balancer. It's hard to price these RKs because they're VERY rare (the 18" version is no longer made). When they were available, these wheels sold for about $400 each. So, considering that these still have very useable tires, I'll set my starting price at $1200. (UPDATE: PRICE LOWERED TO $1000!) If you need them shipped, I will ship for an additional $150 to the continental US. I'm located in San Luis Obispo, CA (Central Coast). Please PM me with any questions. I'm quick to respond and I'll be happy to take more pics and send you full resolution versions. I'm new to this forum but I've been a member of E46fanatics.com for years.
