painted window trim (Teaser)
Just a little teaser.. I just got my window trim back from being painted a couple days ago, and man it makes such a big difference!! I'm very happy how it turned out.. I looked into vinyl, but just heard some bad stories, so I had them painted..
Wanna thank my boy Jay for painting my trim, reflectors and front lip! So here it is: |

Looks clean! Black cars with the aluminum trim looks pretty nasty. I have vinyl temporarly but i want to paint the trim eventually. Did you remove it from the car to paint it or was it left on? I heard that once the trim is removed its pretty much done because its so fragile and gets damaged a lot.
Just out of curiousity.. how much did you pay to have it painted? Looks good bro

Thanks for all the compliments guys!!!
They did take the trim off to paint it.. The top half was very easy to take off, but the bottom half not so much.. Just have to take your time on it. I do see a couple small dings from pulling on it, but not bad enough to bother me. I paid $120 painted.. I will have better pics soon.. My wheels should be on by Wed, so I'll take some nicer ones. I just read that it's hard to get all the bubbles out of vinyl and it's a b!t*h to work with.. My boy's dad owns a shop so they hook me up.. |
