Exclamation Saddle Brown w/burl walnut trim

I have looked through all the photos on here and have only found a couple of photos of this interior color combo.

Can someone please post detailed photos of this? TIA!

I think it would look best with aluminum or the glacier silver trim.

I can't do aluminum in my cars. It looks and feels too cheap to me.(although definetly sportier) Don't mean to offend anyone here. I just prefer the more luxurious/classy look.

Thanks Tony... Looks great!!

Anyone with more detailed shots?

No probs.. def. agree with you on the aluminum. It looks nice, just not my thing. I've always preferred the classier look of the wood trim. I found some more shots of my interior and am uploading them at the moment. If you're thinking about this combo, DO IT, you will not be disappointed. It is a real eye catcher and gets a lot of compliments. The nice thing about it is the fact that it gives the interior a nice two-tone look.

Edit: Holy shit I thought we were talking about Gray Poplar. LOL! That's when you know I had way too much to drink last night. The Burl imo makes the inside look way too brown, some contrast is nice, but to each his own. Oh well won't hurt to have some photos of the Poplar..

Wow thanks so much!! I love it, looks so warm and luxurious!

I actually already placed an order for a 2010 328i in space gray with saddle brown/dark Burl trim. I just wanted to see what it would look like. The wait is soo painful!!

Like I said in my edited post before the photos, I thought we were talking about the Gray Poplar wood trim for some odd reason. Sorry for the confusion. The Dark Burl is going to be much browner than the trim in the photos I posted.

The trim in the photos is definitely Gray Poplar. The pattern on the Light Burl Walnut has straight lines and is lighter than Gray Poplar.

I looked at it when I bought my car and it clashes with the color of the saddle on the seats in my book, so I opted for the gray poplar and could not be happier, it complements nicely, doesn't have any brown tones that clash, but looks like wook still, warm and classy.

Here is a pic I found that shows the the burl with saddle and how it is a more red/brown tone than the leather. The picture isn't terribly accurate, but shows the difference in browns and how they don't go together great. Once I saw it, I change to Gray Poplar as quick as I could and love that combo.

Thanks. My first choice would have been Gray Poplar too but unfortunately it isn't a possibility for the e90, which is what I ordered. And I absolutely cannot do aluminum. Doesn't look bad though IMO.

I did check that entire interior pics thread and there doesn't seem to be a single detailed photo of that combo.

If no one has posted any more by tonight I will throw a couple picts up.

I think it looks nice with saddle. In a perfect world there would be an even darker wood offering. Like an ebony or something. I don't think there is a better choice with that interior color.

Car before this one was an E46 which had wood with a black interior and I yanked the wood in favor of aluminum the first week I had the car. After a couple years I kind got tired of the alum, it really didn't look that rich. A better choice for all black interior but I wouldn't go that way again.

Only had one decent one... for some reason, saddle always looks more orange than it really is.

(sorry about the size!)

I wrapped my trim in black carbon fiber. Looks AWESOME and I think is the best combo to use with the Saddle brown interior.
