Folks,

I am selling a complete set of 4 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A. The fronts are 225/40/R18. The rears are 255/35/R18.

These tires have barely 5000 miles on them and have been driven VERY VERY gently. I estimate that 80% of the thread is still there. No punctures, bubbles, cuts or cracks. The tires are in perfect condition!

I am selling them because they are summer performance tires and here in Chicago, I need an all-season tire at the very minimum.

These tires currently retail for $1284 at tirerack.com!

I want $800.00 for the entire set. I would prefer a local pickup, but I could potentially drive up to 50 miles to meet a buyer. Shipping is not out of question, but it will be bit more expensive.

I'd rather not break the set because it will make the other two tires harder to sell. I understand you need just two tires, but if you buy the whole set, you will have 2 spares for the front as well.

Let me know what you think. I am not in a rush to sell these so I won't break the set just yet.

USPS Parcel Post (6-days): $30.00 per tire

UPS: there will be 2 separate tracking numbers.

The USPS quotes do NOT include Delivery Confirmation. If USPS is your choice, I would have to ship 4 individual packages and get 4 Delivery confirmations.

Bump. The tires are still for sale, but I am guessing that it will be tough to sell summer performance tires in the winter.

I sold mine with 1000 miles on them for 650 local pickup. 800 seems high but i guess if your shipping its about right. try and do local...its a lot easier. I also split up the front and rears, because most people only need one or the other, not the whole set. something to think about
