*** 3R Exotics Rally 3rd Annual Turkey Run ***

so this was the 3rd annual run for us. it was a 170 mile run into the lower catskills of NY. this was the largest turn out so far with 183 cars. it was raining in the am so a few of the murci's, an enzo, and noble cancelled. there were a few fast ( 700hp+) cars as well including 4 997tt and 3 996tt with over 700, a gallardo tt with 1080 to the wheels, 2 2010 zr1's, and a few turbo'd vipers. apparently there were a few too many calls to the police on rt 17, so the troopers ended up shutting down the highway waiting for us. grabbed 15 of the 1st pack, but let us off.

apparently the R8 was rumored to have the paint job done out of jesse james's shop. he bought it used that way. he took so much shit for it from his friends, but hell hes got an R8. yea he folded his mirrors up while waiting for the line to get into the last check point. i was in the 1st group that arrived, so i just stood up on the hill snapping away. took about 40 mins to get all the cars into the last lot.

we started at the ferrari dealer on LI and had a small police escort to get the cars on to the LIE. they blocked traffic, an exit and a few stop lights for us. then went up to just north of monticello and across some back roads that were some of the best driving ive done in the past 5 or 6 years, as we came down into kingston.

zenfilio is great. i like it alot more than flickr for the actual site its self. the layout and display flows much better. BUT and big BUT my 3 biggest issuses with it.
1 - lack of community and group layout that flickr has
2 - most photo forums im on have a max size of 1024 pix in largest side, zen has 1100 and 800 so its either too big or just not big enough
3 - sometimes its a bit slower than flickr.

i use both and end up doing repeat posting, but what can you do. i only put the photog stuff on flickr and keep the work stuff to zenfolio plus the photog stuff.
