Where to buy steering wheel emblem overlays?
Hi guys! My steering wheel emblem is fading, and I heard that you can't replace the emblem without replacing the steering wheel completely. So the only option is the overlay. Where can i buy the overlay? Thanks.

Looking at bimmian & jlevi overlays, they are just wedges that replace the inside wedges of the emblem only. I'm talking about an overlay that cover the entire emblem of the steering wheel. The whole steering wheel emblem is fading, not just the wedges.

Then you need a complete replacement roundel, we do have those in Silver/Black CF.

It wouldn't be a good idea, as everybody else has said, to put a full emblem over the factor emblem as it could turn into a dangerous projectile when the airbag deploys.
If your car is still under warranty, the dealer will replace it for free. I just remembered a couple members in the past having the same problem and the dealer giving them new airbag covers. |

i dont have experience but im pretty sure the airbag cover almost folds over to allow the airbag to deploy. It would be stupid for BMW to have anything hit you in the face (other then the airbag of course).

that's what i'm thinking. the 3M adhesive on the back of the stick-on roundel cover is pretty damn strong. i don't see it flying off but if anyone has a roundel tattoo on their forehead or is missing an eye i'd love to hear your story.
