55w HIDs

http://www.ddmtuning.com/products/Ap...Kit-102-0.html

I know that with the 35w you need all the cancelers and stuff. Or i can just buy e90 Andy's vista kit. But i saw these ddm HIDs that are 55w (available for $10 more) I was wondering if i can use these on my LCI halogen housings since the wattage are the same. Or if there is minor work needed

not true the start up power on these bulbs are double their constant power...so with these at start up they will draw about90 watts and it will induce an error and then power off...

Don't listen to this tool. It WILL throw errors and will not turn on. I have the same kit (h7). With capacitors the kit will turn on but still throw errors.

Make a harness similar to parachutes to eliminate errors.

I guess that depends on the right system. A cheap $40 HID kit that some guy re-brands and sells for $200+?

I have purchased a few different systems and the problem between 40 dollar systems and the 200 dollar systems are obvious.. I have never had a ballast misfire on my 200 dollar kit... on my other car i have had 3 ballast misfires in the last 4 days.... and that other kit was not a cheap kit it was just a less expensive 100 dollar system.... now i regret going cheap. i spent 200 on lows and highs on it and now im going to upgrade again... its not worth it going cheap....

the cost of the product goes hand in hand with quality... that goes with carbon fiber products, lighting, emblems... all and everything... Thats why people buy seibon... instead of ebay cf....

pimpax56 You dont need to spend 200 to get a good hid kit; however, its not just the system you buy it is the customer service and the warranty you buy also. think of options when you decide on a system, dont get stuck like me with 2 sets of hids and looking to upgrade again because the "better 100 dollar system" was still garbage.

There are few companies out there that have a buy back guarantee if you are not happy with the product.... Good luck with the many choices you have

The regular cancellers will not work on early cars (06/07), as they seem to be more picky. These LED load stablizers )http://www.ddmtuning.com/products/Er...IR-226-85.html) should work though.

so both 35w and 55w will throw errors? For the 35, wouldnt i need resistors as well as the cancelers? I was thinking maybe the 55w will only need cancelers and i wouldnt have to get resistors.

I have a 35W kit without any cancelers and I get no errors on my 2007 E90 328i.

All depends on your car....its odd how some system will throw no errors and others will. Also some kits seem not to throw any errors.

Thats true. I bought a kit from Xenon depot and it wouldn't work without a harness with the resistor setup. The one I currently have came with the error cancelers but didn't have to use them.

Its all good... it just is not necessary... there are about 30 or more people on e90post with no wiring harness and still have error free fogs... just search around and you will see what works and what does not work
