High gloss vs matte black kidney grills

Hey finally it hits NJ, im taking delivery in 7 to 10 days. 2010 Space Grey 328i (e92), M Sport, Steptronic, Black Leatherette, Gray Poplar, Satelite radio, Bmw Assist/Phone.

Now, considering the high gloss black shadow trim.

Do i go with Matte Black or High Gloss Black Kidney Grills?

High gloss kidneys would be a better match. That's what I got for mine...just have to install them now.

Do they make the high gloss grills for the E92's? I've only seen them for the E90's...if they do, I'd be psyched to know what the part numbers are.

I would definately go with the gloss as it will match your shadowline trim. That's what I did for mine

I have shadowline and I intend to go matte black. The trim is far enough away from the grille that a 'matching set' won't really be noticed..not to mention, the shadowline is almost not noticeable unless you're looking for it.

I am trying to decide the same exact thing as you. I don't believe BMW makes OEM black matte grill, only the high gloss. Hence, I will prob go for the high gloss since I prefer OEM.

However, I do think the matte back looks better.
