e92 sport suspension

i just realized on the 328 and 335i coupe standard features the sport suspension calibration is standard. Adding the sport package just gives you the sport seats and wheels now.

but the wheels and the sport seats are great to have. But the suspension is very important to have. always hated the way non-sport beamers handled. I test drove the 335i without sport package and it felt stiff like sport suspension. But now i see it had the sport suspension. So if anyone is going to add sport package and change the wheels then do it for the seats i guess then. Its only 1000$

that's why the sport pack price on the E92 is cheaper than E90's

the coupe is know as more of a sportier car so it makes sense to make the sprt pckg standard. I guess bmw do listen to their customer. But trust me, everything is included in the stard price...

Why do only the European E92 335i have the M Sport Supension standard?

Please excuse me, I made a mistake

Its the Euro E90 335i that has only the M sport suspension listed, not the E92

Both Euro and USA E92 335i have the same suspension

In Germany only the E92 335i and 335d come with sport suspension as standard.
All other models have to order option 226.
All E90 models come without sport suspension, but you can order it with the same option 226.
But I think this is not the M Sport suspension or am I wrong?

The question is (talking about Europe): The sports suspension included in the M package for E90 (there is no M package for E92, anyway) is the same sports suspension included in the sports package for both E90 and E92?

If not, it is weird that an M suspension (if not whole package) is not offered for the sportier E92.

Edit: I 've just found out that they come with different code numbers, as options: "226" for sports, "704" for M sports. So they must be different.
The new questions are: different in what, and why on earth the M suspension is not offered with E92.

It's likely that E92 will get m-sport in spring 2007

The suspension is different

In europe there are 3 types of shocks ( E90 atleast), springs and anti-roll bars
1) Normal
2) Sport
3) M Sport

The M Sport model E92 should be available from March 2007 production

E90 also took 6 months before the M sport came out

OK, many thanks!

The sports springs lower the car by 15mm. Do the M ones lower it any more?
Is there any site where we can get information on the technical specifications of these suspensions? (including spring and damper forces and generally suspension geometry, like toe-in/out front and rear, camber angles etc)

I think it's 15mm for the M too.
