Service menu - mileage
I've only had my 318 for a few months. I checked all the service intervals for all items in the service menu on the cars computer when I first got it. Since then I've put about 2500 miles on it. I checked the intervals again yesterday and all the service items are exactly the same as they were when I bought the car.
The front brakes come up every time I start the car with 7000 miles showing and it never goes down. Does the mileage on the service menu items go down in increments of 1000 or something? I would have thought at least some of mine would have changed a bit by now? |

Hi.
Its an approximate mileage based on wear and on wear over the last X miles. If you drive the car much lighter than the previous owner then the mileage could either go up, stay the same or go down less quickly. This is normal. Don't worry about it mate.
