I would... Same acceleration, great SRT brakes and seats, lower maintenance, lower property taxes, more room for hauling people, and you don't give up much in the mileage dept (I only see 15mpg on my 335i in town). You will probably pay more in insurance though. I like the look of the SRT8 GC and you should get it for $7k less than your 335 is worth (depending on mileage). I doubt most of the folks saying no have ever even sat in one, let alone driven one...

If your considering a Jeep instead of BMW then your not the type of person that really would appreciate a BMW, or any luxury car in my mind. You buy a Bmw for the way it drives/handles/dynamics/sophistication. Not just for 1/4 times. |

SRT is a beast, but I personally would not make the switch unless i really needed the extra space.

Thats sick!!
I was actually very interested in buying that before i got the bimmer and test drove a couple of them and really put it to the test as far as acceleration goes. Its faster off the line than the 335 and thats a fact i dont care what anyone says. In the long run the 335 is probably faster cause its lower and lighter. The only downside i saw to that truck was the shitty gas mileage. The reason i didnt buy it was because Every dealer i went to treated that truck like it was god knows what and did not wanna negotiate on the price...so i said f that, got my bimmer, and never looked back. As much as i like the SRT i do not regret the decision i made. |

MPG's wouldn't bother me because I only do maybe 5K miles a year on my 335.
So the "The EPA rates the SRT8 at 11 miles-per-gallon city and 14 highway." wouldn't bother me. How 'bout you? Imagine the MPG's when you play. |

Some of us just have no interest in driving an SUV. No matter how big the engine or luxurious the interior.
