Jaguar XF
My boss just got one of these; a 273bhp 3.0 diesel 'S'.
Its a seriously nice car...almost makes me wish I tried an XFR before I got the C63! |

At least the XF rides comfortably and doesn't crack 19" wheels.

Very true.
And the XF Diesel is very refined, more so than the BMW 35D which is no bad engine in itself. And the new XF 3.0D is quite perky. The interior of the XF is a really fine place to be. D.

I just don't think its a good looking car. - That said, I'm not a Jaguar fan in the slightest.

hello again sir!
i have driven the xfr on a few test drives and it is quite a good and very fast car which sounds lovely but not as hard as the c63 incidently i "came across" a new rangie sport wth the same engine yesterday on my way to work and it wouldnt move over - even at indecent speeds it held its own. admittedly it was wet so I had little traction and his 4 wheel drive beast did (plenty) but it was tremendously fast my only saving grace was that I was still getting over 3 times his fuel economy!!! you know in a couple of months what car will be on your drive mr balls, and it wont start with a "m" but maybe an "x" cant believe the bug has kicked in so early this time!

Hold your horses chaps...I didn't say I would have one over the C63, merely I maybe should have tried an XFR before I bought one!
The inside of the XF is very nice but overall, it's still....well....a little 'old' for me. However, in 6 months time, I will be older and who knows! Anyway, you're right Jon...Mrs Palmballs would not be happy at such an early change! She would be very Anyway, back to more important things...I actually don't know whether I prefer being balls or nuts! Life is just so full of challenging decisions |
