New 330i owner

Hello, names Eric. I've allways been really into bmw as they truely do make the best street cars and have convinced friends and family to enjoy them for manys yrs. I finally got my own as a daily driver. I was recentally wanted to get an e60 M5 as I found some really good deals in cali but decided it was a hassle and decided on this 330i I got locally. Here are some pics because I know every thread is worthless without.....

Car is auto, premimum, sport, nav and some other stuff. First automatic car i've ever had and just plan on having it as a nice daily driver that isn't too too much of a slouch.

I want to get either a drop in air filter or the intake system itself http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...CT_ID=54-11012

It is about 320$ more than the drop in filter and the gains seem pretty promising. Every car is different but if I can see similar gains, mainly in the midrange for 320$ less i'd have to get the drop in filter. I'm also having a hard time finding any kind of power mods for the e90 like cheap decat pipes tho I want to keep it as quiet as possible. Also
does anyone have any experince with this spoiler http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Paint...=p4506.c0.m245

seems like a real bargin and looks awsome!

Happy to have my new car just needs some more low-mid range.

Thanks, I must say stock to stock it pulls almost as hard as my evo did when it was stock, very impressive! But needs more lol.

Car looks great, as does the Elise next to it. Looking for a DD, you can't do much better than the 3-er. Here's a quote from C&D's Long Term Road Test for the E90 330i (a good read, if you haven't seen it): VanderWerp summed it up for all of us: "This is simply the best daily driver on the market—the ideal blend of sport, luxury, practicality, and excitement."

As for mods, check the NA Engine (non-turbo) / Drivetrain / Exhaust Modifications forum. Not much performance mods to do for the NA engine other than the usual intake, exhaust.

I have the same car. Just got it a few months ago and love it. They are a great value also.

Ok, I just absoutely have to know. Did bmw NOT include a LIMITED SLIP DIFF in the 330i sport package!?!?!! If not who makes the cheapest one?

I just got in from launching it a couple times feels like only one tire is spinning. I can't possibly come to terms that a sporty rwd car was sold without an lsd, let alone a 45k$ one.

The E9x's don't have an LSD. BMW stopped offering LSDs in non-M cars in the mid 1990s. You can buy one from Turner (and probably others), but it'll cost you a good chunk of cash.

You won't get much more performance from the NA engine. Air filter, exhaust, and intake is about all you can do. Each for very small gains.
