need wheels spacer?

please help, just brought a set of wheels and wondering do I need a wheel spacer to fit those wheels. Here is the information of the wheels. thank you!

Bolt Pattern : 5X120 OR 5X114.3

* Size : 18X8

* Offset : 40MM

* Lip Size : 2.5

18x8 ET40 will look somewhat sunken in, but it can bolt up without any problem. So if you want to make it flush with the fender, then you'll definitely need a spacer. Make sure it is a 5x120 wheel. 5x114.3 will not fit

Yes, BMW bolt pattern is 5x120. Make sure you don't get the wrong one. =)

Once you get your wheels, just make sure you measure from the wheel to the fender and you will be able to determine the exact fitment you would need!

Exactly on the money.

With that specific set up, running a 5mm spacer all around will work if you don't want rubbing... 10mm all around if you want it aggressive and obviously 12mm all around if you want to go for it all but that set up might cause rubbing issues.
