They are covered. I got mine replaced for free when my angel went out.
Got mine done at BMW Toronto.

of course - it should be covered.... if the dealer says otherwise just go to another one... or just talk to them some logic and see if they are logical

I've had just about every light on my car replaced (exterior wise). It's so freaking annoying.
I hate to believe it... but I think it's an early indication of electrical problems that will be coming down the road

I agree, cant believe the number of times I've been in for burnt out lights already. Not something I expected on a new car. My first halo rings went out after 4 months and the other side at 12 months.

i hope that the lights will be covered under warranty. need to book a time to bring the car in but it is such a hassle, need to bring it for more than just a light. stupid icon on the dash is driving me nuts, do you think i should take out the gp thunder bulbs for the angels and return it back to stock? will they care?
thanks. |

Lights arent supposed to burn during the duration of the warranty. They should last X amount of years/km's/hours. They are tested to do so. When you buy a bulb at the store, any bulb, it says on the box something like, lasts 2000 hours or wtvr. So if it burns after 30, then it's a warranty defect. Brakes, it all depends how you drive. Some ppl will never change their brakes in a 3 years lease and some ppl will change them once a year. city drivers use more brakes, auto tranny drivers use more brakes... It's only logic. It's also the very same for tires. |

prepare to wait a while for bmw toronto to be able to fix a light. i was told it took one week and they have to remove the bumper to change the corona ring (yes, i was very specific about making sure they understand which light i meant).
