NON xi sports suspention into XI??
I want to install the springs/ shocks from a ZSP into my XI....
is this possible? espically since the drop is minimal by aftermarket standards? (HR has kit with more drop) would there be any mechanical problems? extra wear? thanx for any USEFULL info!! also i "read somewhere" that the shocks are the same for these and its just the springs that are different ???

i think the shocks have different part number, so shouldn't be the 100% same, but don't know how much difference. you can try and let us know.

I wanna do the same...If the h n R springs lower the car more than the oem sport springs then there shouldnt be a problem with the transfer case.

I also want to know if this works for an xi. It's either the full ZSP suspension or H&R Sport Springs.

That's what I was thinking. I thought .6 inch drop is good. But I just measured my 325xi wheel gap...it's like 3"! I don't think I'll even see the drop w/18's. What are your opinions?

not possible.. guys think about it. if there are specific HnR Springs springs for XI and I, then there is a difference in the zsp springs and xi springs. u cant put the zsp springs on an xi. and if u ask me, my hnr sport springs dont even lower the car enough, so dont worry about it looking aftermarket; it doesn't.

Hmm...I might just get the 18's and see if I can live w/ the jacked up ride.
My car is JB though...so the wheel gap kind've blends into the car itself from a distance... Well you have an XI, Do you think the ZSP springs and shocks will make a noticeable visual difference? There aren't any shocks out yet for the e90 xi, so just springs might kill the shocks really fast. |

Oh yea, i remember seeing an E91 w/ ACS Springs (made by eibach i believe).
They were like $400, but were comparable to stock ride and made for the stock dampers. Might want to look into that option if the price isn't too high. |
