Tool Kit - E92 Canadian Spec
Is it just me or does it seem like there are missing tools in the tool kit in the trunk? I have 2 or 3 empty spaces.

Same here, you gotta buy them if you want them.
But I think they are just the spaces for the wheel changing, and since we dont have even a jack in the car, they'd prolly be useless! |

LOL, it took him close to 2 months to step up and give me the winter mats he promised.
I dont think I'll have any luck getting them. What are they exactly? Did you get a jack and all, or just the few little things missing? |

So what exactly is missing and where? Is this just E92 specific?

There are some tools missing in my 09 E90 as well.
I asked my sale why my old car had more tools than this one and he told me they don't include them on the 09s anymore. I think the only tools I got now are tow hook, screwdriver and wheel lock key. I don't even have the flashlight in the glovebox anymore. |

You are supposed to get a tow hook, an allen key, a screw driver, lock key, but no flashlight

Some members on the Australian forum noticed the same thing. It seems BMW have stopped including some tools in newer cars. I'm guessing all the people who say they are missing tools are driving LCI sedans or '09 E92s.

i'm really surprised the allan key isn't there, because that's needed to roll up the sunroof if the motor is broken.

Mine is the same as well, good to see I'm not the only one missing some tools.
