Short break in Northern Ireland
Going to N.I. on Wednesday until the end of the weekend. Weather forecast seems O.K. so me and the SWMBO are risking it (got to be better than the excuse that passes for weather in Scotland)
I lived there as a child off and on and haven't been back for 35 years (apart from a one day trip to the Ulster Grand Prix - hail Joey Dunlop! If any N.I. members see a montego blue E92 with Scottish number plates and an E90post sticker on the back window, around the Carrickfergus area - that'll be me. Will post pics here if I get any good ones. |

Taking the seacat from Troon ?
As luck would have it, I leave tomorrow back to CH and the weather forecast for Scotland is looking up this weekend ... D.

Good plan Alan. I am drawing up plans for an Ark as we speak....will it EVER stop raining? Have a great time back in my mother country (well I'm from south of the border but same land mass!!!)
Bon voyage to you and to Dave too

Cairnryan unfortunately. It's only an extra 30 miles or so for me and extra diesel costs a lot less than the extra fares!
