Bit of a change for a while...
Those that know me know why the change is happening... anyway the X6 is going this week and being replaced with an Audi (eeeeek!!!!). I wanted to get a 135i, but couldn't get one within budget (plenty of poverty spec ones, but still a lot of money).
Audi S3 - 2.0TFSi 265bhp Quattro Ice Silver - Black Silk Nappa Leather Bucket Seats BOSE Sound System Satellite Navigation Plus Xenons Front and Rear Heated Seats Electric Tilt/Slide Sunroof Bluetooth prep Flat-bottom Multifunction Steering Wheel Electric folding mirrors Hope to get it by the end of the week. Looking forward to having something small to chuck around... but will miss the X6 a lot.. it's been such an awesome car to drive... Paul Last edited by biscuits; 09-10-2009 at 12:18 PM.. |

looks good always been a fan of Audi's "S" cars, but for some reason I loath the Aluminum mirror covers, not logic i just don't like them. But on a silver car there invisible

I prefer the darker colours on the 'S' cars as I like the contrast of the aluminium wing mirrors! It would be boring if we all liked the same things!
Best of luck with it Biscuits - it should be a hoot

September 2007, but only done 7,700 miles... so will still need running in probably
I'd have prefered a Black one, but I got gazumpt (?) fecking 3 times by idiot dealers not putting deposits on quick enough (and other salesmen in the same dealerships pulling fast ones)... so 4th time lucky I went for this one as the spec is so so good. Nearly bought a red one, a sprint blue one and a black one... Still.... at least it'll stay cleaner longer Just need a full Milltek, Remap and air filters and it'll be sorted... |

Congrats. Having owned one, and now an Ed30, same engine bar the intercooler, I can recommend a TBE milltek, Cold air intake and Oettinger remap(courtesy of Simon at Emaps) and you'll be pushing 320BHP ish!!!!!
S3 is very good fun, very safe, and once fettled is almost unbeatbale cross country!, I just found it abit dead steering wise, re-map helps this feel though Enjoy Last edited by Oli; 09-07-2009 at 04:04 PM.. |
