Tire Replacement - Suggestions needed

Hey gang. Wanted some opinions on what I should do for my tire situation. I understand I'm being a bit of a cheap ass, but oh well.

My lease is up in 10 months. Obviously, I have to return the car with acceptable depth RFTs. Currently, my fronts are fine (need to verify, but like 6-7/32), but the rears need replacing now. Essentially, I want to be safe, but spend as little as possible. Options I see:

1)Grab new non-RFTs (less $$) now, buy some acceptable RFTs from here or Ebay for ~$200 at turn in time.

2)Grab new non-RFTs now, turn car in with them, BMW replaces them at a discounted price (hopefully, given my next car will be with them also - going to call them about this).

3)Grab used RFTs with ~6-7/32 for rear and hope they're acceptable at time of turn in. Obviously, the cheapest route but biggest gamble.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

P.S. What's acceptable for them, typically, 5/32?

Not sure what BMW requirements are for acceptable tread depth however ...... used would definitely be the way to go if it happens to work out.
Most of us don't want the tires and are more than happy to make room in the garage for a low"er" price ...
