Cheap M5 Alternative

Just been glancing though prices of the Vauxhall VXR8 and they were a cheap alternative to BMWs M5 and Mercs AMG C63 when first launched @ around £35K, I know there not as well made but now you can pick a New 2009 car up for less than £23K that is a lot of Car for the Money. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1101292.htm

There was an interesting group test with a VXR8 and a 335i in EVO some months ago. The 335i was the quicker car despite the power differences.

That said, I like the honesty and retro feel of the VXR8. Would quite fancy a bathurst supercharged version.
