WHY is there oil inside the intercooler

ok guys i just did my intercooler cooler upgrade yesterday using the STTET front mount kit.... while in the process i notice there was a decent amount of oil inside both end of the charge pipe and inside the intercooler!!! my oil light also came on driving about 7k miles since my previous oil change... after draining the car oil i notice just about 4 qts or less that came out of engine...
any idea whats going on guys??? possibly blown turbine? super major blow by?? what is going on??????? one more thing on the turbo intake filter inlet to the turbo i notice that it is also oily there as well like it is dripping..

Your crankcase breather recirculates oil vapor, etc which condenses in there. It's normal.

that oil will eventually get into the intercooler making it less efficient...oil catch cans captures the oil making it less likely to reach the charge pipe and intercooler..

I think Mr. 5 came up with a homemade catch can setup. You should look into that to start.

Werd. You can make one yourself or buy a premade catch can from the vendors here (including us).
