Subwoofer question
hey im about to get my passenger air bag sensor changed out soon because it was lighting up under warranty.
question is. i heard somewhere they have to disconnect the battery or something. but i have a subwoofer wired to the battery. will they give me some BS like they will NOT change my passenger seat cause the subwoofer is draws too much power from battery and cause passenger seat to malfuntion and not replace my sensor? |

Personally I find it amazing what some dealers do. If you don't have a good relationship with your service department, I'd unhook anything aftermarket where there is any way they could use that to try to blame you. In this case I wouldn't think most people would try to say something like that, but again, you never know.

It's so easy to disconnect the wire and tie it away somewhere that you might as well do it. Path of least resistance and all.
