I agree; "he" has left himself wide-open for court action there.

Protocol has not been followed. It's a simple as that.

Protocol has been followed mate Gross misconduct (porn, swearing, etc) and you can just be hauled to HR and escorted to the door.

Tbh , if she wasn´t fired because of her work, the she should NOT have been fired for her opinion towards her boss..

He abused his position as her employer, and played a power card
Bad move, as its out of (as i understand) working hours, and non work related, not written to co employees (as i understand)

So in principle, has no baring on her work environment at all.

She was fired because he didnt like what was written, and he bitch slapped her online.

He acted like a little bitch
.. the little bitch lol

It was about the work enviroment, no? So timing is irrelevant.

He should of taken the matter 'offline' etc to deal with it, but he was just playing her at her own game, why is it ok for her to slag off her employer?? If she feels so strongly about it then leave Or look 'cool' moaning about the boss blah blah...

Reminds me of the Virgin airline crew? that got sacked for slagging off passengers...

She's been in the job for less than a year (if the whole thing is true, which is seriously doubtful) and consequently cannot claim for unfair dismissal. Particularly within an agreed trial period, the employers' definition of what is gross misconduct is fairly liberal and he can summarily dismiss if he wishes.

If she did take him to court and win, I'd be interested know exactly what she won. I would have thought an employment tribunal would have happened before court but she couldn't claim unfair dismissal.

imnot syaing what she did was clever, but it wasn´t done in work time or with employees, therefor she cannot be fired for the statement made onface book

.. she´d be fired the day after because the coffe was too hot...

my point is, just because you are the boss doesn´t give you ultimate rights to fire people on a whim.

The matter should have been brought up the day after, and addressed-

Instead he acted like a little bitch

I agree he didn't go about it in the right way, but he still could. Anyway, the whole thing is probably manufactured bollocks.
