LOL

I've got a couple of Autoart pieces, didn't know they were banging these out yet though, but these'll be second generation Autoart as the original company closed a few years ago didn't they?

When they were UT which was years ago.

The quality has much improved since the UT days. Some of my UT escort cossies are worth over £120 each now!

Yes I agree, some of the s/h prices are very good if you have the right models. The quality as you say is very good and that's why they are usually worth the premium over the other brands.

The OLd mate 90's UT models were not poor quality, just as times have moved on so has the quality of models. but the cossie models (as well as some others) command high prices in mint condition. There are not many in a true ''mint'' condition though. I searched high and low and bought many pieces over to get the mintest of the mintest. Love em!

A Minichamps fan myself. I have nearly 100 1/43 mostly Porsche vehicles. Mostly paid the original £20 - £30 but they go up in value not long after the sell out.

The two GT1's in the front command £150 - £200. I have the '96 and '98 model years. Need the '97 but can only find one for sale at £170 in Japan.

The 911 Turbo's at the front right command at least £50 and up to £150 depending on colour

Lot's of Carrera 2.8 RSR's in the middle again £50 to £150.

With the money I have spent I could have bought a real 911 by now

I inherited a garage full of these things from my Grandad.

If anyone wants me to have a look through and possibly sort you guys out with some for a good price then we might be able to do each other a favour.

I couldnt tell you the brands, but some look VERY expensive.

Mostly we are talking McLaren F1's, a variety of Lemans type stuff, a lot of Classic Porsche, Ferrari type stuff and the occasional wildcard like an NSX or something.

All boxed and getting in my way when I am trying to make it into a gym!!

Good idea. Post up the brand, scale size, car type and whether boxed or not, plus condition etc, and I am sure a few of us may be interested.

lol..

Funnily enough, when they were talking about 'Autoart' and 'Jadi' etc and until I scrolled down, I thought it was a photo/art picture...

I was confused myself until we got the big cars on a desk picture, then it twigged.
