My Car Is Falling Apart!

Between 60k - 64k miles:

1.) Cooling system leak - new thermostat
2.) Power steering pump failure - complete replacement
3.) Rear passenger side window-motor failure
4.) Cup-holder won't pop out of dash
5.) Brakes needed replacing (rotors and pads) after less than 15k miles
6.) A/C system leak - required check valve replacement

What's next? Anything else I should expect to crap out on me soon?

Yeah....Nagging issues for sure. I'm surprised about the brakes however. 15k miles? That's a lot of hard braking.

Its all those mods...

haha jk.

That really sucks, and it has me nervous about my car in the future. I know my E46 had just about NO issues through 49k...I wonder about the E90 now.

Highly recommend ext warranty even though most of them suck. This will never end for any e90 or other present model BMW.

Yeah, idk. I live in the desert so I'm not sure what happened unless they lied about replacing them a while back.

All issues fixed ATM but who knows. And I was selling my car but I decided to give up flight school instead

fwiw, 60k is traditionally a milestone mileage for BMWs.

100k is really a biggie in terms of repairs.

We did get the first year of the e90s, so we should expect some failures, but damn! That sucks.

I have had mine in the shop about 8 times in 10 mos. Real pain in the ass. I just try to remember I didn't buy a Toyota.

Good luck. Hope the nasty spell is over (esp since I am fast approaching 60k).
