Trim it up!
I recently wanted to install iDrive in my non-iDrive 325i. CRAZY. Now, I'm looking into just buying a used one instead. However, the "perfect" ones have dark wood trim when I want the light wood trim. Is there a way to swap them? Can a dealer do it, for how much?

You can trade someone. Or you can wrap it in CF, like I did. Not the best pictures but here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=269763

They can be removed pretty easily. If you buy the trim new from the dealer, it would cost upwards of $500 I think. Perhaps you will be able to find someone on here that wants to trade.

The darker wood is popular, so you should have no problem selling it. I'd buy the lighter wood, get it installed, and sell the dark wood.
