335i Coupe VS Mitsubishi Evo X

I’m curious, in a straight line drag from a full stop who would win?

BMW 335i Coupe (Auto) with Vishnu Tuning Procede V3 piggyback and BMS Dual Cone Intake riding lighter csl rims and Michelin PS2s.

Mitsubishi Evo X (Manual) with Cobb Access port tuner, HKS drop in filter, HKS BOV possibly other bolt ons owner claims a total 330awhp but no dyno proof (no awd dyno’s available in the country)

Predictions guys?

335i should have advantage if the Evo X is only claiming 330awhp.

Both cars weigh exactly the same, but the evo X has awd.. at launch, it will be faster than the one-wheel drive 335i (no LSD).. After the initial launch, who wins will depend on who has the more hp, and how long the stretch is.

Not to mention its an awd which will have an advantage from a dig. Evo's are so mod friendly...

edit: sam beat me to it lol

Apparently someone doesn't like instant torque. I don't know how big you think you can go. There's not much room for larger snails.

Garage List
A question that great thinkers have pondered since the dawn of man. In fact, the only question that has more relevance in these troubling times is: who would win in a fight, batman or superman? That is, assuming batman has an aftermarket batsuit and superman is not laden with kryptonite.

Well, the 335i delivers more tourqe sooner in the powerband than the Evo. And even with full bolt ons the new evo cant develop much more than 400hp without serious work. Both cars lightly modified are interestingly matched, i was hoping someone would have some first hand insight.

Base Evolution X is 291HP. Both cars at stock, the EVO should win by .03 seconds or so in 0-60 according to official times.

the question is - how big are your balls and how big are his?

Is it a child's race? to 80 mph?

Or is it a man's contest to over 150?

The EVo is a stoplight to stoplight 1/4 mile or 120mph toy.

The tuned 335 will open up and continue to walk most rice beyond 120 and up into the 180s.

This is an autobahn car with alot of top end. The evo is a shitbox made from legos and leftover hasbro transformers parts, built for spikey haired kids who dont have the balls or brains to handle a car for sustained autobahn speeds..

Then again, legally speaking, this is a moot point in the US.

I wonder why they can't sell EVO's in countries with no speed limit roads?

Pretty expensive shitbox made from legos for $39k (MR trim) w/technology pkg. Here's the other thing, it is more about the 0-100 MPH than past 100 MPH. This is the US after all. You're really hanging your shit out there whenever you do 100+. In my state it's a careless and negligent charge for that speed. It's game over.

Believe me, immediately following my 3 Hail Marys and 3 Our Fathers, I pray everyday the US will build a cross country autobahn type route someday. Fat chance.

Little trivia regarding the Autobahn, do you know who conceptualized the idea to build it in Germany? You give up? Adolf Hitler. Yup, he was a car fanatic (aside from being a world domination fanatic) and wanted a high speed intra-road system.

considering Im a ww2 german re-enactor, yes I do...

And eisenhower took the concept, and built our interstate system from it...

Hitler also talked ferdinand porsche into making the Volkswagen as well as it "was the right of every german family to own an automobile and be able to drive across the state for which the sons of the reich spilled blood to build and defend"

Also true.

Eisenhower screwed up, our interstate system (with the exception of a few spots in the US) was never designed for the same high speeds the German autobahn was meant for. Especially under freezing temps. If I recall correctly, there were various speed records set on the autobahn exceeding 200+MPH not too long after World War II.

I've never seen an Evo X driver around here who did not have spikey hair or thin-rimmed, tinted glasses.

Neither car is stock though.

But nonetheless, I agree it'll be a driver's race. Largely dependent on how well the Evo X driver can drive a manual and the length of the race.

Be safe.
