Seems the new 7 series and now the new 5 series is all getting that straight edge cut hood that stops before getting to the signature kidney grills. I don't know about the rest of you but I'm not sure I like it. I came from the E46 when the hood was built into the kidney grills which I thought was a cool design.

Then the E90 came and the hood stopped just before the kidney grills which I have grown to like and think it looks great.

However I'm not sure I like how the hood ends WAY before the grills, it sorta messes up the flow of the hood lines.

What are your thoughts, seems the new sketch photo of the 2012 3 series will be getting that same look.

Good or Bad?

Man if it gets those Audi-like LED lights around the headlamps I'm gonna be disappointed. That's Audi's thing, not BMW's
