Warranty will cover the clutch. I got mine replaced at 21k. You will more than likely get a remanufactured clutch. It probably would be a good idea to remove the mods, but I know people who have gotten warranty work (i.e. fuel pump) with downpipes on the car. If you leave the mods on, pretty sure theyll still do the clutch replacement, but may flag your car for future warranty claims. You're at 40k miles, so you are close to the end of your warranty anyway.

Id remove the mods. Mine went at around 13k. Went with our Stage 5 setup and a billet steel flywheel.

Did the upgraded flywheel solve the shifting/shutdown chatter problem?

The dealer says it's normal, but I can't help but think this will cause issues later down the road.

5 is a pretty big stage... is it twin or tripple plate?
