Question for the sport gurus........
Sport on a coupe is 18' wheels, steering wheel, sport seats. Suspension is a given.
Sport on a Coupe with X drive is the same but with 17' wheels and all season tires. Does the xdrive coupe have the sport suspension? or is sport on the Xdrive just steering wheel and Seats. Tell you the truth, I want a RWD with sport but with all season runflats. Im leasing, its gotta go back teh way it came. I mod houses, not cars. Decided on a new coupe instead of E46 M3 because of euro delivery. Decided to lease and use what was going to be 10k downpayment on euro vacation to germany and france! Don't want to change wheels, like all seasons, don't want two sets of wheels. Last edited by Nalod; 08-04-2009 at 10:36 AM.. Reason: a |

The xdrive does not include sports-tuned suspension with the sports package.
You can get the 18 inch wheels with the sports package xdrive coupe, but not the sports suspension (unless you go aftermarket-which you are not inclined to do).

I think the xdrive does not allow the parts. Interesting this "sport". On the 5 series when I ordered mine I was able to get the sport seat as a stand alone option. The suspension is what is most important and its standard on the coupe. The steering wheel I can take it or leave it. Be nice, but no biggie. Thanks for the response. I down loaded a brochure and your info appears to be correct. |

Oops, I guess i was over analyzing your statement that you "Mod houses".
Yeah, I modify home loans, "Lowering interest rates, Deffering principal balances, re-instatements, etc.. Nice 2 houses, If you want a lower interest rate on both of your properties, I would suggest you call you bank that you are invested with rather than a third party Atty.

Correct, for the 335. You can't get 18" wheels on a 328 from the factory.

In Canada, the sport seat is available as an $800.00 stand alone option or as part of the Sport pack or the Mc sport pack. But no sport suspension is available with x-drive. To me the sport suspension was way more important than AWD, so I went for the 335i Coupe.

ONe more question,
It would appear that the sport on the sedan has seats, steering wheel, 17 wheels, suspension and HIGH PERFORMANCE TIRES. BUt the 17's are not staggerd? Im not ready to talk to a SA, but anyone know if I can get All seasons RF from the factory? |

When I checked all that was available from the factory was the summer tires. But IMHO, all season tires are useless in most conditions so I got two sets of rims and tires. My BMW centre stores them for me for a nominal fee, that way I get great performance all year round. But I'm not quite sure what you winters are like, I just know that with our winters with a 335, winter tires are a must.

E92 RWD sport package adds sport seats, shadowline trim, and staggered 18" with summer tires. Sport suspension is standard on all E92 RWD.
E92 xDrive sport package adds sport seats and shadowline trim, plus a different 17" wheel design. 17" wheels are non-staggered with all seasons. 18" staggered summer tires are optional. xDrive does not have sport suspension, even with sport package. Sport steering wheel is standard on all E92: sport and non-sport, RWD and xDrive.

You will only get the oil cooler on the Xdrive coupe if you get the 18inch wheels.
