major service issues including a screw protruding w/ pics
Hello board, i'm a long time lurker and didn't really want to post this but if you guys dont mind me asking, what was the process for getting your vehicle "bought back" and did it take a long time? we've had major issues with our 07 335. brake sensor failures, fuel pump, a screw protruding through drivers side rear door, etc. we even got to the point where my service manager has stated that if the brake sensor failure happens again, that they will buy it back but of course now it's not happening again after our most recent visit with them regarding this issue.
then i heard of an owner of a 135 getting his bought back with half the issues that we've had. what gives? we've been in contact with bmw na and to me, it seems as though they could really care less on what vehicle we purchase/lease next. we're more than willing to purchase from them again but why the large discrepancies between buy backs? btw, here are the pics of the screw there is the FACTORY screw protruding through the side of the door. the protrusion is right in the middle of the pics they did accept fault for the screw and repaired the damages but my real question is why for some people do they purchase their vehicle back so easily while for others like me, it seems as though i get to keep driving around a vehicle that's in the shop every few weeks?... thanks for reading. that's the thing, it wasn't there at delivery. in fact, it was there for over two years, then all of the sudden it showed up. dealer stated they've seen it one other time and that's when the door flew open due to high winds and it bent the entire door. obviously this wasn't the case.

and i agree, cosmetic things are just that but what i'm referring to is how are others getting their vehicles purchased back with what seems to me like minors issues, adaptive headlights being replaced and such while i can't get mine replaced with 4 brake sensor failures, fuel pump failures, etc
