E90 LCI 335i (Engine Temp)
Guys - the other day I went on a road trip and experienced a slight rise in engine temp. Normally, temp gauge stays just one notch under 250 F, however, I was driving through some mountaneous area for about 15-20 min and the gauge started climbing to 250 and I was like.....oh no, overheat???
good thing mountain drive only lasted about 15 min, otherwise I was afraid it would go over 250 F. I had four adult passengers and had the AC running. is this something I should be concerend with? thanks. JKK |

I've been at 280 for over 45 minutes, no issue. My car runs hot even on cooler day (always near 240-250). I have 52k on it and it hasn't overheated yet.
