Injen Intake WTF?

Hey guys i finally ordered an intake for my car a 2006 e90 330i only to find out that even though you spend top dollar getting a good intake they can still *uck you. This is the first time i have bought an injen intake. At first i was very happy with the product while reading about its gains and the quality of it. However as soon as i got the product all of my expectations turned into disappointments while installing the intake myself since i am a certified mechanic i found that not only where the directions flip flopped between what to do if you have a 330i or a 328i but there were parts missing as well. An example of this claim was made clear when the instructions said to remove the intake elbow from the throttle body by loosening the hose clap which i did however my car a 2006 BMW 330i has a vacuum line running into that same elbow which in the injen intake had no place for it therefore the vacuum line would be left hanging not connected if i went trough with the install. What i found disturbing was that the instructions showed the vacuum line nipple being used in the intake for the 328i but it was plugged with a cap when the 330i picture was shown. This leads me to believe that the instructions are reversed for the cars and not properly explained. The instructions show that the intake did in deed come with the nipple and should be plugged or connected either way no matter which car it was (plugged for the 330i (false) or connected for the 328i). The intake NEVER came with the nipple shown in the instructions which as a result i had to disconnect everything and put my stock intake back in only to find out that the flange nuts that hold the heat shield together to the frame of the car are missing from my inventory check list and the box i received but they said in the instructions that you should use the "supplied" flange nuts to secure the heat shield. From what i could tell those are the only errors i could find. I spend top dollar to receive the intake only to find out that injen makes errors just like the much cheaper vendors. I sent an email to their office pretty much exactly like this one and i'll see what they said. Im looking to get another intake that fits perfectly or get my money back. On a side note while i was putting my stock box back i checked over everything and made sure it was connected since i was half pissed off i forgot to fully plug in my MAF sensor and drove from my friends house to mine which was like 8 mins away i parked my car and about 20 mins later i turned it on to go to another friends house. Needless to say my check engine light went on and i then remembered that the MAF wasn't correctly in so i secured it and went over the engine bay again just to make sure. Now my question is will the light turn off by itself after a few drive cycles for the modules or do i have to go to BMW and get them to take it off? Thx guys
