Chip/scuff on my windshield
I was driving behind a minivan going really slowly in the passing lane when a brown rock hit my windshield. After I pulled over I looked and noticed it was a scuff or chip of some sort but the problem is it is right exactly in front of where I look at the windshield. The scuff is also brown like the rock that hit me and I can't seem to get the color out.
Is there anything you can recommend I do to reduce the how conspicuous the scuff is? Thanks. |

I've seen some of the experienced detailers here polish glass (similar to how you would polish paint) but have no idea how to do it myself. You might get more response to this in the detailing section.

imho just live with it, because eventually the glass will get another, and another, and then crack and be replaced. I got a chip fixed for free by insurance, only to get multiple chips not too much later. It's a losing battle if you drive your car...
