This will be the 3rd new seal that has been applied to the rear windshied/trunk area. Had to wait until the weather will be sunny or at least not rain for 2-3 days so the adhesive can dry fully. Thats what I am thinking it has been since it fell off 2 times so far. But almost every bimmer has had this issue one time or another from what I read so far. (The right corner peels off the window and hangs loose)

But the best thing is that the SM and a tech are coming to my works parking lot to do it. Since I cant keep missing work to go out there every time.

Now I just need to make sure they are not thinking of charging me since it was done b4 under the OEM warranty, and from what I read the CPO warranty doesnt cover leaks or seals.

But I guess I will find that out tomorrow at lunch.

Wish me luck on this as I think I will need it with this car

Well now I am just waiting for them, they said they would be here between 12-12:30 today so I hope they actually fix it right this time, and they better not try to charge me for it...

Well I guess they forgot or something, since it is now 2:15 and they pulled a NO SHOW.

God I hate the lack of good service from BMW dealerships

HAHA Nice I was just keeping everyone informed, but I am sure most are sick of all my issues I have had with my car since I got it, and I am seriously looking into something else.

Its sad when more than Half the threads on this site are negative somehow about their BMWs. whether its the HPFP, door lock actuators, leaks, creaks, leaky headlight washers, squeeling brakes, etc.. I could go on for a while here.

I dont know what happend to BMW as a whole but I know I am not the only one with a ton of issues with my car here.

And just when I get happy again or think they will come through for me, the dealership pulls a no show. wtf?

sorry to hear of the no show. And for me, I need to learn how to spell "dialogue".

With so many issues you have with the car, I agreed with you that maybe bmw is not the car for you.

well the tech just left my parking lot at work and appears to have did a lot better job cleaning all the old gunk off the glass before sticking the new seal on. And with the sun out today I am hoping it seals and seats properly now.

WHAT THE HELL, I came out to my car after work and the right corner fell OFF again. WTF?

I am pissed, not at the Tech, cause I watched him do it and he did it right, so why would the new seal fall off? was it the heat or doe I need to use epoxy or what?

^^ thanks, it does make me feel a little better, as did finding out the next step I need to take which is to drop it back off at the dealer overnight so they can use winshield adhesive to hold it in place and I guess it would take 12 hrs to cure properly.

But I still wont have to pay, since luckily I had this 1st worked on b4 oem warranty expired. But I think I will get the PDR thing set up to fix my one small dent at the same time if possible.

LOL, they fixed the left rear on my 2 months ago. About one week later the right rear loosened up, but not hanging. I haven't done anything about it because I feel like it's just going to move again. Maybe I'll just get some adhesive on my own and put a small amount in there.
