Test Drove an E92 w/ Navi and ZSP.. coral red

...Nothing new probably to anyone here, but to me is was awesome to see a E92 last night in NJ with Navi... especially considering ALLEGEDLY that Navi with RTTI are only starting to be built next week... anyway.. After my 30min drive (which got my CA in trouble...sorry Siggy...my bad)

ZSP
I had test driven the E92 328i without ZSP, so here was my chance to test drive the E92 with ZSP and Navi. Any difference? Here I was expecting a harsher ride.... not to be found. hit a few road imperfections intentionally etc. I have not driven 100's of cars but I did not feel anything extremely (nothing actually) different between the ZSP and non-ZSP 328i. Felt just as comfortable to me as the non-ZSP...aesthetically the wheels for the 238i are very nice in my opinion. Dead on point and shoot handling...amazes me compared to my 2003 G35. I wanted to hit the unlimited 155 ha ha, no dice.

On the Navi front
In this case I was just interested to see the appearance of the Navi on hte dashboard as this car was not installed with the nav DVD yet. I like the dash...surprisingly. I was thinking the wave-double hump might bother me but it did not, I like the 'wide screen' look of the navi screen and in this interior, the crimson red, where the dash is all black and they had dark burl the whole dash worked or me. I have to say the crimson interior looks sporty but is just too red for my tastes but that is personal preference. I went with black interior.

Wish i could get a drive of the 335i soon. We’ll see.

..Ok now I should stop.. ~Frost

i believe all e92s, except maybe for the xi versions come with the sports suspension, all the sport package gives u is the sport steering wheel, seats, and bigger wheels/tires which will decrease the ride quality slightly

I was wondering if I would be able to feel a difference 17"-18" with RFT's but no. The added seat control is a nice benefit.

Sport Package (from BMWUSA site?!?!)

Q?? Do you get power adjustable seats on a non premium package car?!?

Star Spoke (Styling# 189) light-alloy wheels, 18 x 8.0 front, 18x 8.5 rear; 225/40R-18 front, 255/35R-18 rear run-flat performance tires*
8-way manual adjustable front sport seats with adjustable side bolsters, and 2-way headrests and thigh support
8-way power front sport seats with adjustable side bolsters, 2-way manual headrests and thigh support**

*Run-flat tires do not come equipped with spare tire. *Due to low-profile tires, please note: wheels, tires and suspension parts are more susceptible to road hazard and consequential damages. Performance tires not recommended for driving in snow and ice.
**Optional power seats or Premium Package required

Power seats should be included on the 335...optional on the 328. All the E92s have sport suspension...the only thing the sports package adds are the larger tires and sports seats. That's why the sports package is a little less on the coupes. The sports package on the sedans adds the 3 spoke steering wheel and sports suspension (standard on E92s) larger tires, and sports seats.
