Car was built in oct 08--- it was one of the first 2009's built. My sales rep and I were surprised it came with the 2009 style iDrive and the Year One of the 1 emblem. I was expecting an 08. Ive got all the documents to prove it.

Unfortunately, dealer staff are notorious for being no-talent knowledgeless assclowns.
While it's probably possible, I doubt it's cost effective. Did they give you a parts list? If it's just a switch, wiring harness, dash panel, and a few heating coils under the seat, great. I'll bet it requires whole new seats however, which would be $$$$$$$$. |

Id say it requires new seats but I suppose you never know. People without bluetooth already apparently have it installed but just need the coding done. Alarm harnesses are there too.

Yeah Bluetooth is a common add-on after the fact in many brands, but heated seats are generally not cost effective. Unless you find the seats from a wrecker, I'll bet it's $2-4k once it's all said and done.
