Tampa nightlife?
Coming in from Dallas to spend a week in tampa, looking for some suggestions on what to do when the sun goes down. What cool bars or clubs does tampa have? Just so you know, everyone in our group ranges in age from late twenties to early thirties

ybor city is downtown, its the "night-weekend" life area full of bars, live music, etc.

Ybor at night is typically for the younger crowd, early-to-mid 20s. Lots of thug wannabes but it's fun if you like that atmosphere. Plenty of clubs of bars.

Ybor City is ghetto. Check out south tampa area. Theres Hyde Park Cafe, Mangroves, The Kennedy, etc. The Venue is one of my usual sopts to go. Thats just over the Howard Franklin Bridge in Largo. Blue Martini is over at the Internation Mall area. Channelside which is in downtown Tampa has Club AJA which is really nice, Jacksons is right off the water. Just google some of these names and see what you like.

What about the Hard Rock Casino? I went there a few weeks ago while in the area and it was fun.

yea i guess ybor sucks. I never was the bar hopping/ clubbing type so IDK WTF i'm talking about. Channel side is def a good spot.

Oh and make sure you go to eat at Boizao's! Expensive but pretty awesome...at least IMHO.
