I guess he doesn't drive road courses. Nitrous isn't allowed.

And why have a front license plate at all, a smooth bumper would be much nicer.

Lastly, why did you post this in the E90 section?

Should move it to the E46 section. I mean its not that special to me anymore. I feel like been there done that here.
My car was done up the same way but went further with CSL body Recaros BBK all around the CF roof the works...

All the used market in after market parts for that car is so cheap now its so easy to have a super modded E46

The DINAN badge would look better if it was installed properly. But why keep the DINAN badge when the car is obviously bi-curious with other tuners?

+1... The E46 has been around since 1999. E46 M3 with the LEDs still catch my eye at times, but they are still dated.

My GF doesn't follow cars at all but she thought an '08 M3 sedan looked older than my '04 E46 coupe because of the tail lights. (It's a little different with the '09 M3--its lights look pretty modern. I ordered an '09 as opposed to picking up a bargain '08 for this reason alone.)

IMO the E46 LED's look quite modern and blink much more brightly and engage more crisply than any E9x lights right now since they are true LED's--both braking and just driving around. And they have adaptive brake lights, an extra ring that engages when ABS is engaged...

I think E46's have different "dated" features such as the strip moulding down the body lengthwise and general boxiness... but the tail lights definitely look great for the '03.5+ LED's.

E46 M3 is one best looking BMW's ever built.

Just classic.

Love this one in the INVO ad.

I agree, even though I'm getting an '09 E90 in less than a month, I still prefer the look of my '04 (which I'm keeping, BTW) over any E9x.

The rear does look dated.

BTW, why post this in the E90 section?

It seems as if you and your g/f place a lot of emphasis on tail lights. For me personally, I have never given a second though to LED tail lights. The E9x looks better from every angle.

Looks nice, like all E46 M3s, but there are some questionable bits for me, like the front splitter/lip and the wheels. Not so sure I would put nitrous in my M3 (if I had one) either.

All and all, I do think the E46 M3 looks much better than the E92 even if it is "dated." I really did not like the E92 for a while, but it has been growing on me a lot, especially in white. I have found myself lurking these forums for the past few days and finally decided to register this morning.

Damn... dated or not, this ride is pretty sick and i agree with MrHarris that the E46 M3 still looks great.

Curious, how much does a full Dinan setup cost? I am guessing it costs a few more than some pretty pennies. Dinan should really work on their badging.

kudos to your mate

We have adaptive tails also brake hard and you get all for outer brake lights to light up at their brightest
I had my E46 for almost 6 years since brand new. I miss the car itself for the experience and it was a nice show stopper as it had everything you could possibly do to one, except HPF, including nitrous. BUt I wouldn't trade the E92 for it, I like it a lot more and I think it looks better from all angles.

This year I killed all of my E46 track times with generally the same mods Brakes, Suspension and Seats etc swapping over. Reason enough for me to stay more than happy. Same driver different cars same tracks and conditions theres no argument that can be made to me now
