Help on changing air filter, many thanks
Hi, all,
I was wondering how many mile the air filter should be replaced. I asked the dealer to replace it when my car was in for service. But they refused and said that it was not the time yet. Is it an easy DIY? And when should I change it? Thanks a lot for help.

It's done every third oil service. The key reader says when it's due. DIY? Remove air box, remove screws from air box, replace airfilter, reverse for installation.

Thanks a lot, SoCalTech.
I have done oil change three times in dealer. I guess the key didn't say anything about air filter. It's fine. I will just change it myself when it hits 50k miles. Hopefully the filter is not costly.

OEM air filters are not terribly expensive, but there are also a few aftermarket options available that offer more airflow and better filtration. The AFE filters are regarded as some of the best in the industry and are available in an oil and oil-less version.
