2F6C Exhaust fumeflap code is only thrown while the plug is undone?

Or is it stored even if you plug it back in?

I had plugged it back in before scanning, but I thought the code was stored from what I've read here even if you've plugged it back in? When I scanned for it using the Procede rev. 2 CANBUS, no codes showed up?

I was looking at the channel Debug Word 8, which is the correct one for DME codes.

What gives?

I saw from another post that the BT cable shows:

2F6C Exhaust fumeflap, input signal
Error will not cause a warning light
I've seen two different ones: 1 - Error is currently present OR 2 - Error is currently not present, which I'm guessing means the code is always there, and with the BT tool it just tells you if it's plugged in at the time of the scan or not?
Test conditions have been completed

its possible for some codes not to be stored in the DME. Some limp modes will not even throw a code - so there will be nothing to store or see.
I suggest plug it back in before a service, clear all codes (if any)and unplug it after the service again and have some exhaust sound fun.

I'm also going to try to leave it unplugged, then do a scan. I'd think that at least while it's unplugged it should throw a code for sure, and I'd hope to be able to see it with Procede reader, since it's one of the codes they mention you should be able to read (it's decimal code 12140, which translates to the hexidecimal code 2F6C).

Very odd... so I left the plug in the trunk undone and checked it with the Procede, and nothing! What gives? Shouldn't there be a code showing for sure?
