Bumpy ride / passengers seasick

I've had my 320si for a few weeks now, and its been quiet a bumpy ride. According to the dealer it'll 'loosen up' after a while. A friend has an X3 and also stated that the first ? miles where particularly bumpy and this is a typical BMW thing.
Anyone know anything about this? Tips? Suggestions? After how many miles will it (if it will) loosen up a little?

Have the dealer check to be sure the shipping spacers are not still installed on the shock absorbers, this will cause an exceptionally bumpy ride, and is fairly common.

the runflats also make the ride a bit more firm, but not necessarily bouncy.

Um, isn't the si supposed to be a poor man's M3, in which case you would expect very firm suspension?

after 3000 km my car got softer also, the rubbers need some time. The steering gets a bit looser also. I had read about that in this forum. Offcourse if you dont have runflats the softening wont be that much.

I wonder how it will feel when the wheels get replaced after x nr of km

Whippersnapper, just read your review on the (what you would probably call a poor man's 335i?) 325i, you write you have a sports suspension, that's what i'm reffering to, apparently.
