Got into Car accident
sigh.....got rear ended today....
i was driving normally...and then stopped at red light.....then all the sudden a totoyta rear ended me... only rear bumper screwed up...and the exhuast tips are a little tilted don't want to get into details about the hit cause i already said to 500 times today.... i'll post pix later....and you'll see a toyota sigh on my E90's ass.....hehe anyways.....is it possible to get aftermarket bumpers instead of getting the OEM ones?...cause i don't think the insurance lets me get something other than the OEM stuff.... if so, any good ones out there you guys like? i'm open for suggestions.... |

You can get the OEM MTech rear bumper with the money. I dont know how it exactly works but some of the members here have been rear ended

Are you really located in the north pole?

I was involved in a similar accident tooo.
FYI: Just got my car back from getting its bumper fixed. Total expenses were $1100. Took 2.5days for fixing. |

no way the insurance wont get it replaced, they'll write you up a ticket for all parts and labor for you to bring to your Body Shop of choice.
Once you find a Body Shop that will take your Insurance estimate, then ask/tell them you'll pay the difference to get an M tech bumper instead. labor should be the same.

Wow, I thought the Toyota being smashed up was suitable revenge, but to hear it was the body shop's car sent me and the wife into fits of laughing!!!!!!!!
It's happened to me twice. People get mesmerized by the Bimmers....1st time. $444 to fix, 2nd time, $10,000!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our brakes are the best on the planet.....watch your rear view always!

look at it this way. a new bumper for you, vs. a new car for the toyota.
