Exterior Lighting Failure Message ?
On my 08 E92, I received a message / Symbol on the display stating that there is an "exterior lighting Failure". I looked this up in the owners manual and it states that a bulb has failed, please check and replace the bulb..... I walked all around the car, had my wife sit in the drivers seat and apply the brakes and put it in reverse to check the backup lights also and THERE ARE NO BULBS / LED's out. Could this be a bad sensor? Could it be telling me that a bulb IS ABOUT to go?? Any ideas?? Thanks |

No it's telling you that you have a light out. sometimes a bulb can work itself loose and will throw a code then when you check it's ok.. or you were looking at the brake lights when it's a running light or a angel eye or something
look at your car at night
