My first HDR photos
Had my first attempt at doing some HDR photos. Took a while to figure out how to do bracketing on the camera but finally got it going. Now need to figure out how to use the histogram in photoshop...

Sweet looking cars!
Some advice - The reflection on your blacks isn't coming out enough imo. If you did a 3 shot exposure for HDR - try to make the exposure bracketing a little higher. At least -1, Correct exposure, and +1. Sometimes on really bright days, I'd go to + or - 1.3. When you merge - you should be able to pull the reflections out of the black and get the sky to show a more darker color (unless it was really overcast when you shot) and not have the houses too blown out. Some things I shoot for when taking pics for HDR: 1. Shot at the lowest ISO possible with the light given 2. Use a tripod and remote trigger if you can. 2. Try to get the middle exposure as close to spot on as possible. Good shots though for your first attempt. It isn't too difficult but it does take a little practice. Here are some of my HDR shots from a trip I took as a reference. Good luck! |
