Item Interest

This is Production Unit #1 of the CF Vorsteiner Powerdome hood. It is single sided and unpainted with some very minor rock chips here and there. There are a few small scratches underneath the hood, which doesn't matter, but figured I would let you know. It's been on my car for about 10k miles and well taken care of.

$650 - Pickup at JLeviSW (NorCal). Shipping *might* be possible, but I'd have to look into it.

Fitment for me was initially off because the shop didn't have it properly adjusted. With some tweaking of the latches I got it looking very close. I can't say it fits 100% OEM, but it sounds like you're aware of that.

I'll try and get some rock chip photos. They are very small and in the clear so I'm not sure they'll show.

Tried to get some photos in the garage this morning and you can't see anything. Like I said, the few chips are very small and in the clear coat over dark CF and they don't come out in the photos. Frankly they are hard to see in person, you have to catch it at the right angle.

I had the hood clear coated in addition to the VRS gel-coat for the protection and it looks great. The hood is a 9/10 and has been on the car for 10,000 miles.

OEM hood shocks won't work. I bought a $30 adjustable hood prop and it works great.
