DUMB "Park Smart" garage floor pad
Today when I was backing my 328xi out of the garage, I felt it "drag" like the brakes were sticking a bit. I looked down, the e-brake looked alright so I just figured that the brakes were sticking since I parked it wet a couple of days ago. I backed up out of the garage and when I looked forward, my garage pad was missing from the floor! I shut the car off and jumped out and saw the whole 20' x 8' pad was wrapped around my drivers wheel!
It took 2 hours to get it unwrapped . Luckily, it didn't damage anything I've been using this "Park Smart" brand of pad for over 7 years and it's never done anything like this before, I guess a squashed worm or something else sticky stuck my tire to the pad. This pad was about 6 months old, so it wasn't brand new OR old. So if you use this type of pad, don't let your guard down!

What's the point of a garage pad in the first place?

It keeps my wood garage floor from getting wet and it has hoses around it to contain the water. My garage is one of those Amish built buildings, delivered on a truck. The messed up thing is the whole thing sits on a concrete slab.

I was wondering who stole my box of huge condoms! Stop using them for your car and give them back! You know, you can't just get them in any CVS.

I use one of those to park my Benz in the winter. It never crossed my mind that this could ever happen, weird...
