Service Now - only MOT

Hi,

My dash computer is saying "Service Now". When I check via idrive, it's only the MOT needed.

My question is, if I get the MOT done at a non-BMW place, will they be able to reset the service indicator so it stops flashing "Service Now" - or is it even something I can turn off myself?

Or is it only BMW that can reset these messages?

You can reset the MOT indicator via the setting menu - I did mine two weeks ago when my car was MOT'd.
