Eclipse Motors | Smoked Headlights

After numerous inquiries, Eclipse Motors will now offer the same smoked headlights package featured on our show car. We were the first to create this unique solution for the E9* M3 and regular E92/E93. These headlights give the front of your E9* an aggressive and sinister look that will set your car apart from every other BMW on the road. The process involves the following steps:

1. Heat up and remove silicone sealant
2. Carefully remove the headlight's various internals
3. Remove orange LED bulb from turn signal housing
4. Sand orange paint off of turn signals. This eliminates the "egg yolk effect" when the bulbs are off, while they still blink amber when turned on.
5. Sand chrome paint off of high beam housings and xenon housings
6. Paint turn signal housing, high beam housings (two separte components per headlight), and xenon housing
7. Reassemble headlight unit internals without scratching the delicate matte black paint
8. Reseal headlight unit with silicone adhesive

NOTE #1: Your headlights will be resealed just as securely as they came from the factory. There is no need to be concerned about moisture ever entering the headlights after this process is completed.
NOTE #2: Removing the orange LEDs from each headlight WILL NOT throw error codes on iDrive. This is guaranteed.

We are offering two separate packages:

1. $295** - Headlights must be either shipped or delivered
2. $395** - Eclipse Motors will remove your bumper and headlights
*shipping charges not included in price and will be calculated per each customer's location.
*a fee of $75 will be charged for custom color requests. We can paint your headlights any color you desire.

Many thanks Brandon! I have to stop by the shop soon to pickup the black lug nuts for my MS spacers. BTW, where did you guys get the torque wrench you use to remove the wheels? I was going to use an impact gun to remove wheels but it's too noisy to do in my garage.

I can do it alongside the detail. Turnaround time should be about three days.
